Social media is not just marketing – and it’s time everyone figured this out. And according to this article from Social Media Today, “only 23% of Social Strategists have a formalized program with long term direction.” Whaaaaaaat, you may be thinking. This Washington Post piece was a nice little gem, showing us one place the women are dominating. According to DigitalFlashNYC, over ½ of social media users overall are the ladies. 64% of Twitter uses are female, but don’t worry guys, you still get to win something. The dudes overwhelm on LinkedIn and even Reddit (makes sense – memes are clearly a male thing :) ), and a whopping 71% of Google+ users are male.

Salesforce tells us how to gauge interest properly by researching, reviewing your available social channels for as much info as possible beforehand, and personalizing the experience. If you're tired of hearing the click of the dreaded hang-up, this product might be worth a look-see.
