This (potentially mind-blowing) installment of our regular blog feature recaps some of the most interesting recent content from the @SMinOrgs Twitter account, including results from two research studies on Twitter, a piece about social media in healthcare, and a set of blogging tips , as well as We're #SMOPin highlights. We welcome your feedback.
This is the latest installment of “Last Week on @SMinOrgs,” written by our Twitter co-manager Lizz Farmer (aka "- epf") (click here for the first installment and an explanation of this feature). I hope you enjoy these posts as much as I do. : ) Based on the feedback we’ve gotten from readers, it seems that people find them valuable, so we’re going to keep producing them until Lizz runs out of steam (or time – I’m pretty sure she won’t run out of jokes…).

Hope you're all out in the great weather (if you're in the Midwest) or not (if you're in Louisiana, or the South in general) and ready for a Holiday Weekend! Here's a little smash-up of last week's goings-on over on @SMinOrgs…

The World Cities That Tweet the Most - Arts & Lifestyle - The Atlantic Cities http://ow.ly/d4MU5
If you were in Jakarta and it was June, chances are, you
tweeted. In terms of the number of tweets, the capital of Indonesia beat
out New York, LA, Chicago, and even Miami. What?! you may be
screaming inside your mind. I thought all people did in Miami was
dance and tweet!? And occasionally tweet while they dance, if they're
pressed for time!? Well, of course that's still a highly
accurate blanket statement, but apparently, the club rats don't post their
location as much as the Jakarta folks. So, Jakarta has an amazing sense of
patriotism? "The Fightin Jakartans!" Could be.
Social Media is Good Medicine for Healthcare Marketing | Social Media Marketing Co's for HC Mktg http://ow.ly/d4L8w via LI by @KCSorrelli
Service instead of selling is one of the big reasons healthcare consumers respond so well to social media in the healthcare world. Social media also helps docs and healthcare marketers keep up with the times, which is huuuuge in every industry, but especially so in this one. Don't you want your healthcare provider to know about the newer, better, lower risk spinal injection needle thingies? Ugh. Let's not think about it too much, but yes, you definitely do!
The “Tweets per Day” Sweet Spot: Key Research Findings http://ow.ly/d7ToU
It turns out, you guys are all about the findings of the LinkedIn poll. @cheesycons remarked that finding out how to best use Twitter via a Linked In poll is pretty meta. She's spot on. We are so into social media that we delve deeper into other social media to help us investigate our initial methods of social media. We're the Inception of social media. *brain explodes. Unfurrow that brow and check out our poll results!

Until Next Time…
Per usual, we are soooo into your thoughts and compliments and musings and comments and suggestions. And if you're not following us (@SMinOrgs, in case you've missed it), every passing day is another chance to turn it all around! As the great philosopher, Socrates Johnson, once said, "The untweeted life is not worth living." This is the deepest post I have ever written.
